Question 2: How has using deep breath work and participating in guided meditation felt for you this week? before / during / after or Day 1 vs Day 5
I really enjoyed it
I almost drifted off yesterday! Love it!
It was much easier by the end of the week and I got used to it very quickly. It was very calming
Better able to relax nd get into it quicker
Doing it every day really highlights the benefit of doing it regularly- children would definitely benefit and be more open to learning after
It becomes much easier to get into the breath work exercises. Practice makes progress!
I’ve used the tracks linked in the FB at home as I felt I have really benefitted from them .
Much more relaxed during guided meditations and more focus and being mindful
I got more relaxed after each session and found it easier to get into it more quickly
Easier to do each day as the week progressed
Amazing! I love this practice and feel my mind is clearer after. I have no doubt this practice will help the children I teach, having a clearer mind will help them regulate and be open to learning
Day 1 - uneasy Day 5- relaxed and rested.
It got easier as the week went on. I felt more relaxed as the week went on
Easier as week went on but the element I find most challenging.
Deeper relaxation, helped to get me in the zone and stop overthinking which made it easier to meditate.
On day 1 I felt that my mind was wandering, I found it difficult to settle into the practise but by day 4 I was familiar with what was expected and found myself leaning more into my breathing and felt that my mind wasn’t wandering. I felt more productive as the week went on and definitely felt more energised too.
I have done the loving kindness meditation before and did a course on it. I love guided meditation. Its like a planned rest and reset.
Has been a very positive experience and highlife the importance and value of fully slowing down and taking time for yourself to just be
I really really enjoy and feel I get enormous benefit from this - I look forward to it.
I was uncomfortable at the beginning of the week, restless is a better word but I am enjoying these sessions now on Day 5. I feel more engaged and finding great benefit in it.
Much more confident in using deep breath work, can enjoy fir much longer length of time , will use it as a calming strategy for myself and in the classroom
Great, I felt it was something I wasn't great at before but practice makes progress.
